About Me:

I'm a female, conservative Christian who loves reading, writing, drawing, philosophy, tea, and sharing my thoughts on all of those.  I also enjoy studying the Japanese language and culture, and if you ask me about either, be prepared to sit still and silent for a while as I have a tendency to ramble, especially about things I love (hence this blog, where I can ramble as I wish).

Within books, my favorite genre is children's fantasy, and my favorite fiction authors are C. S. Lewis, Brian Jacques, and Nomura Mizuki.

This blog is for me to share my thoughts on stories, both what I've read and on the craft of prose storytelling.  If there is a book or series you wish to recommend or request I review, feel free to post it in the comments.  I love recommendations of new windows to look through.  However, just because you post a request does not guarantee I will read it or, if I do read it, that I respond positively to it.  I will, however, welcome polite discussion.  One of the most fun parts about literature, after all, is discussing it with others (part 2 of "hence this blog").
